FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a bola de Berlim?

A soft ball of fried dough, rolled in sugar and cinnamon. At Casa Berlim we make two things, done properly: bolas de Berlim, com creme (with custard) or sem creme (without), and specialty coffee.

What's the difference between com creme and sem creme?

com creme: Split and crowned with egg custard — on top, in plain sight, as it should be.

sem creme: Soft dough, crackling sugar and cinnamon, nothing else. For the purists.

How much is a bola de Berlim?

com creme: €2.50

sem creme: €2.30
